Nutz Sack
With this project I combined my experience with patterning and fabrics with packaging and typography. The challenge was to completely rethink packaging for something as simple and plain as peanuts.
Inspired by chalk bags that rock climbers use, this Nutz Sack (humor intended) clips directly to a backpack strap for easy access without having to hold the bag. It's also earth-friendly since it's washable, reusable, and lined with vinyl for easy cleaning.
I made every element by hand, from patterning the bag and sewing to stenciling and designing the hang tag. Sometimes the best solutions come from looking at how other industries solve similar problems.
